Change is rarely comfortable, and lately, Ricochet has implemented a lot of change. What we want you to know is that your loyalty through that change has not gone unnoticed. Through it all, we have been continuing to build and listen, and have taken our lead from the feature enhancement list many of our customers have contributed to.
So today, we’re excited to share what we’ve been building.
Penny Rounding
With the U.S. penny being phased out of circulation, cash transactions are getting a small but meaningful update. Stores can now round cash sales to the nearest five cents, keeping checkout clean and your till accurate.

Tango Integration
Paying out consignors just got a lot more exciting. Tango gives consignors the freedom to choose how they get paid. Stores send an email or SMS, and consignors can accept their payout via Venmo, PayPal, or a gift card from over 350 vendors. Less friction for your consignors, less work for your team.

SMS Messaging (Coming Soon)
Keeping consignors in the loop has always been important. Ricochet Go has offered push notifications for a while, but not every consignor uses the app. SMS Messaging closes that gap. Stores can now send automatic text messages to consignors when items sell, payouts are ready, or items are about to expire. No app required.
Quality of Life Updates (Coming Soon)
Sometimes the best updates are the ones that just make everything work a little better. Here’s what we’ve been quietly improving:
Consignor Login & Email Branding
- Store logo now appears on the consignor login portal, Ricochet Go, emailed receipts, and password resets, now available across all Ricochet stores
Duplicate Items
- Quickly duplicate existing item listings to save time on data entry
Discount Updates
- Discount title now prints on customer receipts
- New discount counter added to the Preferences section for easier tracking
Bulk Updates
- Toggle Auto Discount, Item Fees, and Sales Tax on or off across inventory in bulk
